What Happened in Vegas…

May 11, 2015 By Laura

I realize this is supposed to stay in Vegas.

And one or two incriminating pics definitely will…

Lucie, Vegas, and I had such an amazing time in Sin City sinning celebrating Lucie’s birthday.  I can’t help but to share some of it.  I think these pics (mostly) speak for themselves.

Blogger-appropriate road snacks.

It was a marvelous weekend.  I can’t believe last year I was in Switzerland celebrating with Lucie and this year she’s in the US with me!

Have you ever been to Vegas?

What’s the best birthday you’ve ever had?

Ahh what an epic birthday! That’s how you do it. I’ve been to Vegas once… but that isn’t nearly enough. I still think my best birthday was getting a trampoline, age 4. Still can’t beat it and it’s been a while…

A trampoline as a kid is like winning the lottery!

Oh whah talk about an epic birthday celebration- looks so fun and where better than Vegas! I can’t decide on my best birthday- I feel like each year only gets better & better! As long s there’s good food &I’m with friends/family, that’s enough to make it a perfect birthday! (cheesy I know)!

Birthday cheese is totally acceptable. 🙂

My extended family always went to Vegas for vacation as a kid – and where did grandpa go at 4AM??? – but I haven’t gone there as an adult! I have friends who go to the clubs there, but I’m not as interested in that as I am in ALL THAT FOOD! 🙂

Amazing! Looks like an incredible time!

My best birthday was probably my 21st as I did the big marquee party thing… We got noise complaints after though and had to take an apology letter round the village! Bit awkward.

Sounds like you did it right! 🙂

OMG I was just at Caesar’s in February celebrating my brother-in-laws birthday! I want to cry seeing the pool pics because we had so much fun hanging out there!!! Looks like you ate, drank and worked out well….bravo!

Looks like you guys had a blast! I really need to get to Vegas for a mini vaca. There’s no way I’m getting into a swimsuit anytime soon. Ugh the battle continues!

    • Laura says

      May 15, 2015 at 1:30 PM

You gotta let that one go. Allllll kinds of people were strutting their stuff in bikinis. It was kind of comforting.

My husband has been to Vegas several times, and he gambles/plays cards. I like your version of Vegas–pools and people watching and food

    • Laura says

      May 15, 2015 at 1:32 PM

We gambled a little, but I’m more about the sunshine and food! And you’re right on with the people watching… no shortage of entertainment!

Before I decided to uproot my life, I was supposed to be going to Vegas in September. I’m hoping that everything will still work out and I’ll be able to go, because you’re giving me travel envy!

Aaaah this looks and sounds sooooooooooo good! I’ve been to Las Vegas last year and I am going to be there again this September. The Caesar’s was my dream hotel but it was so so expensive that we settle for a different one. Can’t wait to go now! If we have half the fun you seem you had it’ll be absolutely worth it!

We were really lucky to get a deal… it’s pretty incredible!

Maybe its because Im an old lady, but Vegas really isn’t my scene. Although if I went with a girlfriend instead of my husband it may have been more fun! we went for our anniversary and didn’t go to any shows or anything, just walked around pretty much, and we ended up leaving and going to Disneyland instead [we live in LA]. I guess Disney land is just my kind of crazy! 😉

I can see that… there really is something for everyone though. Laying by the pool in the desert sun is sooooo relaxing!

Hi Laura! Yes! I love Vegas. I went there for my bachelorette party a few years ago. We stayed at the Bellagio, ate at Mesa Grill, saw the Beatles Cirque show and hit up a pool party and some clubs. My favorite part though? Dessert at Serendipity ahhaha! Glad you had so much fun!

    • Laura says

      May 15, 2015 at 1:48 PM

Gahhhh! We were RIGHT there and I still didn’t get a chance to try Serendipity. Next time!
