Flipping the Switch

May 12, 2011 By Laura

Being plugged-in and “on” for extended periods of time can be exhausting to mere mortals.

I have already worked 40 hours this week and I still have lots to do.  I don’t mind it – it makes the time fly.  The only problem is that I’m out of things to say.

So today I’m working from home.  In Excel.  Without human connection (save one call this morning).

There have been lots of pics/activities/awesomeness that I haven’t gotten a chance to share, so I thought today I’d do a picture-intense post.

Warning: this post is 1) super late and 2) wordless (save a few captions).

@ La Pietra Cucina

@ Iberian Pig

Michelle Malone @ Eddie's Attic

Michelle's after-the-show show

New rug... do you like it? I'm not sold.

I rode in an Aston Martin DB7 Vantage

Sweetgrass Dairy goat cheese stuffed piquillo peppers @ Holy Taco

Greek yogurt, bananas, Fiber One, cinnamon, and chia seeds

The End.

***

Do you ever just run out of words?

What to you do to re-charge?

You have to check it out! Be sure to sit on the patio. Great people watching and many nights there are live bands on the square.

    Ha! I knew you weren’t a “mere mortal”!! 😉

I do lots of things to recharge. Treat myself to sushi, time in the sun, wine, a massage, and oddly enough, a good long road trip.

I’m a fan of the new rug. Looks good in there!

Did you see that 100 things you need to eat in Atlanta feature in Creative Loafing? It totally reminded me of you!

LOL! I just tweeted about it a few mins ago. Care to help me conquer any? There are actually quite a few missing from my repertoire!

I love that rug! Where did you get it? It would look great in my bed room, which is currently rugless.

I got it from West Elm… which is basically where I got everything in my condo. LOL! I was going to try to branch out… but it didn’t work out. 🙂

It is a sure thing that the higher the megapixels the more
expensive the camera would be, so leave this choice till last.
The Nikon D80 Digital SLR Camera allows manual setting of the shutter
speed. 3-megapixel camera and managed to capture solid, beautiful images
    under wide variety lighting conditions.
