I have a visitor!!!
No, I don’t mean Aunt Ruby.
Lucie arrived late Tuesday night to stay with us for the holidays. I’m actually writing this in advance for a change… it’s Wednesday at 3pm and jet-lagged Luce is passed out snoring. I am so excited she’s here. We’ve got to spend her birthday together this year, now we get Christmas and New Years! Please someone hire her in the States so she can stay…
By the way…
In the spirit of the holiday, I’m not spending too much time online. This is a quick summary of what I’ve been baking. It may not be too strange (other than Meghan’s special pregnant ninja cookie), but they’re friggin’ good.
I wrapped up most of the goods and played cookie ho-ho-ho (I admit to being a cookie ho) to my neighbors.
Done with the Christmas baking! Now time to gift this deliciousness away. This year I made sugar cookies, coconut macaroons, chocolate sea salt-almond cookies, walnut fudge, and sea salt fudge. The macaroon and chocolate cookie recipes are on my blog. I just used a basic sugar cookie recipe. @fitswisschick and I even made a special on for @cleaneatsfastfeets l, complete with the ginger in her oven. The fudge is a super-secret recipe. It can be found on the back of the Jet puffed jar. If it ain't broke… 😂
- 3 Ingredient Coconut Macaroons
- Chocolate-Almond Sea Salt Cookies
- Ginger Sugar Cookies (Lucie did an excellent job decorating)
- Fudge, one batch with walnuts and one batch with flaky sea salt on top

We’re hanging out in the desert for Christmas. So bizarre!
What is your go-to cookie recipe? I’m addicted to the chocolate sea salt.
Best present you received this year??
