The secret is the challenge I teased last week! I was so excited when Heather asked me to partner with her on this 2nd Edition of the #MoveHappy Challenge! She wanted to bring it back to celebrate an exciting change on her blog (that part is still a secret… for now!). It’s going to be awesome, just like this challenge. So…
What is the #MoveHappy Challenge?
It’s been 6 months since her original challenge and the idea is to encourage you to keep it up all year long. This time it’s even bigger! We’re joining forces to challenge you to ENJOY fitness this month. Doing something that makes you smile and gets you moving, that’s what the hashtag #MoveHappy is all about!
So often we get caught up in what fitness is “supposed” to look like and how much of a chore it can be. That’s NOT what fitness is! The best workout is one that you enjoy. If you don’t love how it makes you feel, why bother? If you enjoy your workouts, you’ll stick with it and be more fulfilled by it. Fitness should be fun; that’s how it becomes part of your lifestyle rather than a chore.
To keep you motivated all month long, we have wrangle some awesome prizes! These are from brands we personally love, and I think you’ll find they are some of your favorite too (or maybe new favorites?). The challenge starts July 1st and ends August 2nd.
How to Participate
To be eligible for each week’s prizes, you simply record at least 3 #MoveHappy workouts on the official #MoveHappy post of the week. The first week will be hosted by Heather and the second week by me — and it will continue alternating throughout the month. We’ll remind you
ad nauseam, so don’t worry about remembering where to record your progress each week! (Check out these ideas to get moving).
You can also earn BONUS ENTRIES by sharing your progress on Instagram. After you’ve recorded your 3 workouts on the official blog post, you will receive extra entries each time you share a #MoveHappy photo on Instagram, including the hashtag and tagging @sprint2thetable and @betterwithveg. You must actually share your #MoveHappy workouts to be counted, not a picture of you lounging by the pool. Although you should 100% do that too because it’s summer and who doesn’t love that?
Remember, 3 comments on the official blog posts are the key. Any extra comments and Instagram photos are bonus!!
Each week, we’ll randomly select a winner from all participants who have shared at least THREE #MoveHappy workouts on the official post of the week. The winner will get some amazing prizes to encourage you to keep moving and smiling. We will share the details at the start of each week, but here’s a little sneak peak of what is up for grabs:
